OP, 6mg 3 times Daily is good.

I personally have never used an MDI or any form of albuterol myself, so I don't know how well the inhaler works, but I bet most people who the MDI/inhaler and says it doesn't work use it wrong. I know it's probably not an option but it does work in nebulized form. The patients I have given breathing treatments to have clearer lung sounds and even often say they can breathe easier after tx.

Oral route would probably be the most convenient option but onset is slower.
