What I find highly intriguing about this subject (I have spoken to my male cousin about this issue).

Is they seem to want the place the black male as the FACE of domestic violence and I think that is wrong.

What always intrigues me is the fact that people think it is just WOMEN that suffer domestic abuse!

Exactly and he went to court with his wife and they both were questioned about it, she admitted she hit him twice and spat at him before he knocked her unconscious.

NFL fined him and gave him the 2 game suspension.

He issued a public apology to everybody (Didn't need to it wasn't your wife or my wife or anybody else's wife).

Case closed.

Now TMZ release the EDITED video (they admitted they edited it where she hit him and spat at him).

NFL suspend him indefinitely and Raven's terminate his contract.

The videos are public property aired by the media with the right to air it, he is under contract and a personal conduct policy violation is enough to sever his contract, the team is a brand and a public company. I've had women throw punches, plates, glasses and phones at me. Ok, as much as I hate to admit, I can somewhat agree with op. Here's how and why:
Women physically assault men. They do this knowing they don't need to fear retribution. Physically or legally. This isn't right, and since we're arguing right and wrong I think this argument has a pertinent place in the debate.

For example, an OU football player was recently suspended from the team for an altercation involving a female. The video has not been released, but members of the media were allowed to view it.
The description of the event, the female confronted the player and made verbal slurs toward him (harassment). He attempted to avoid the confrontation. She pushed him (assault), he tried to walk away. She got back in his face and slapped him (another assault), he immediately and instinctively responded with a punch to the face (overkill yes, still considered self defense).
This resulted in numerous broken bones in her face.

The DA would not press charges against the female, and instead pressed charges against the player for assault. On a situation he tried to avoid, and was provoked by the female.

Should he have hit her? No. Should she have hit him? Still no. Yet he received legal recourse and scholastic and athletic recourse from the situation she placed him in.

In the argument of wrong and right, that's wrong.
