Controlled delivery?!

I had no idea I would have to sign for it. That just makes me super nervous and after doing some research online I find this..."The USPS does not offer signature confirmation on Priority or Express International Parcels." This package was shipped to me via Priority Mail Express International. Why do I have to sign for it if the USPS does not offer signature confirmation when shipping this way??!

All of mine have come USPS and I have had to sign for every one of them.
