I was doing the seated one arm horizontal rows the other day and just did a set with 4 45 pound plates and one 35 pound plate per side. That's really pushing it for me, which is my heavy set in the pyramid. so I walk away after the set momentarily and go get a paper towel to wipe the sweat off my brow and my head. I come back and this young thin guy is acting as if he is going to take some plates off. he looks at me and then says oh, would you like to work in, or something like that. So I tell him I was coming back for two more sets, but if he can row those plates as is, the station is his.

I've been meaning to ask one of the trainers a question, and keep forgetting. Do they bring up gym etiquette during their sessions?

With anyone I'm training in the gym I always bring it up, just in little comments like 'and always put the weights back when you're done' or 'take a step back from the db rack so other people can get through'.

    Gym etiquette, it's important.
