I like intermittent fasting and its easy. I just skip breakfast and have my first meal at 12. When I can I workout on an empty stomach before the first meal, otherwise I workout on a semi empty stomach later in the afternoon. I try to finish my eating by 6 pm, 8 pm at the latest and the evening meal is the biggest. I go to bed on a full stomach so I don't have sleep problems that going to bed fasted can produce. When you wake up, your not hungry and I have no problem being active until my first meal at 12.

As far as macros go, I don't do any carb cycling, I just eat normally within a 6-8 hour feeding window. It is the easiest 'diet' I've been on and its working.
