You have a police force that's majority black, the chief of police is black and they seem to be defending their officers. If race were involved I would have a hard time believing they would still be defending their officers. Now people can say they're only doing so due to government pressure, but the majority of Baltimore's government is also black, the top officials are black. Then you have the autopsy that reveals no physical damage to Gray's body beyond the spinal chord injury. If the police were roughing him up wouldn't there be more than that? I don't know what the answer to this one is, but it is unique compared to Ferguson and NY. And in my opinion, the people that have made up their minds on this issue are doing so based on nothing but emotion rather than facts, and that goes for both sides of the argument. You can't make a rational call based on emotion without all the facts. But unfortunately, we now live in a world where facts almost never matter and opinion is often deemed fact if the emotion runs deep enough.
