Yeah I worked in a wood yard for about 2 years because the girl I was dating her dad had a yard with about 100 cords of wood, mostly maple and alder so I worked with him all the time. He would get in a logging truck of logs and have it dumped. I got good at walking trees cutting into lengths, splitting and stacking or delivering with him. I never worked as an actual logger falling trees although I have done a bit but not professionally.
My dad always bought the cheap store brand chain saws that last about 1yr with light use.I like my new Stihl, it's a light pull. You dont have to pull hard. It sort of winds up and then turns over. Even a 98 lbs girl could start it or a 185 man with bad shoulders. lol
