    Yeah, they're only a few hours away from me. And yes, you hit the nail on the head... 12k is what they asked for. They do great work but I can get to 600HP for about 7k.

    Dont be so concerned with the final HP & TQ numbers and spending a few extra grand. Sure, anyone can have 600 hp at the rear wheels, but only a good tuner can make your chosen set-up run well in all driving conditions (i.e. at idle & throughout the RPM band). If the tune is crap, you'll be very disappointed with how the car drives. What good is saving 3-5K if the car runs poorly after the install...

    100% because most people do not drive full throttle. Drivability is the biggest and hardest thing to accomplish. Most who are only worried about HP and not drivability (reliability) the engine typically doesn't last long. It would suck to drop $10K into an engine and have it blow up within 2 years.

    my point exactly... Power performance reliably l will Take over rawpower #'s any day... In the end u want a daily that kickass and causes u no problems ! It can be done Tuners are all about getting big #'s to brag about in their builds.
