He and I (clearly) disagree on a few things, namely, what does and does not constitute a valid argument. But, even with his comment, I don't really want him banned. It was a childish thing for him to write, even after that rambling paragraph chock-full of red herring.
I thought he was productive out in the real forum; am I wrong?

What an astute observation! Unfortunately, he has always been careful to not flame others, which you did. I suppose his nonsense is also entertaining to some (boards require a bit of drama to thrive), whereas yours wasn't.
Our only "agenda" is to take out the trash to keep the board running in a positive direction.
