Speaking with my grandmother today she said Muslims have been immigrating to Belgium for the last 50 years+

She remembers an influx from Algeria back then. She never thought it would go the way it's going now. She was due to go back this June and cancelled the trip

Yes they have. They and most everyone has migrated somewhere or a little everywhere since the beginning of time and more so since travel by ship, train and plane has become more accessible but I dont think there had been nearly the influx has there has been the last 10 years or so and especially not with the threat of invasion directly implied by them. We need to take their threats seriously before it's to late.

Glad to hear she is safe.

My understanding(ask your grandmother if this is true) was they came after the war as cheap labour to help rebuild and then managed to stay and bring families over. And due to high birth rates make up 25% in brussels. The problem is the first generation seem to be the best and work so hard to get a better life for their family but the next generation feel isolated because they are not excepted by the locals so they cling to what they have(ancestry)
