Hey guys, I'm sure a lot of people have posted this question on here in some way shape or form but I keep hearing a lot of different opinions on it. Let me start by saying I'm 24 years old, in the midst of my first cycle. I've gotten my test level checked 5 different times before deciding to take steroids and it's always around 400 ng/DL which is on the low side for my age. It seems that most of what I've seen says to wait until after you have kids before staying on test, but being that my levels aren't that high I would love to stay on and then come off in 6 or 7 years when I decide to have kids. I talked with my endocrinologist and he told me the opposite of what I've been seeing on the Internet- that it doesn't matter if I cycle or blast/cruise, there will be the same recovery period after I decide to come off and most likely my sperm levels will go back to normal. He also said that HCG is pretty pointless since its main function is to keep you sterile while on steroids, which doesn't matter for me right now. My question is, should I take his advice, and blast/cruise for the next 6 years and just assume I can come off and everything will work? Is HCG necessary? Or is this guy a quack and everything he told me is wrong? Before I make the decision to stay with cycling or blast/cruise I wanted to see another doctor for a 2nd opinion, but if anyone on here has any knowledge about this or experience, any help/advice would be greatly appreciated. I would much rather stay on all the time since my test levels aren't great, but fertility later on in life is a higher priority for me.
