I'm sure there's already been a thread but I just watched it. The acting for me was good but the way the movie was directed was pretty poor I think. Visually it was beautiful, all classic traits of Z Snyder.
What did you guys think? The part where they foreshadowed to the other heroes was a big let down for me.

I thought it was a waste of 2 and a half hours of my life.
It was way too long, everything was predictable, and DC left us hanging at the end so they make another terrible movie next summer.
Movies are supposed to tell a story and good stories have an ending.

Story was horrible, it flip flopped all over. WonderWoman was awesome, sucks she had such a small roll. Everything else was good. I was let down, but the action and characters did great jobs.

Kind of tolerable at best. Ben Affleck was o.k., but doesn't compare to Christian Bale.

Bale was such an awesome batman. I really wish he would have done it for this one. As much as a despise affleck, he wasn't a bad batman. They did a great job of making him seem very experienced.Originally Posted by Proximal

100% agreed, I was actually pissed he got the role.
I said the story was bad, but what I meant was the conflict between Batman and Superman, it was all over then all of a sudden because of their Moms they liked each other, that wouldn't have happened in the comics, weird. Maybe its me. But I do love my Momma.

Biggest match up in comic/movie screen history....and it was a 10 min scene at the end..which turned to fightin Doomsday....
I thought it was a decent movie but they couldve had more battles throughout the movie..
Agreed the way the brought the justice League into fold was laughable..but understandable as they're way behind Marvel so had to quickly get the all out there

That preview looked good! When it comes to the topic of this thread, I was not looking forward to Afleck as I too liked Bale, but I think he did well. Just thought the plot sucked.

The reason they stopped fighting was definitely forced. Also, shoving him 100 yards through the dirt probably wasn't a solid way to start the encounter.

If they had taken some time and made movies for each it would have been much better. DC has some money, they should have pushed out a quality product.

Still not through this move, half played and will probably never finish. The heroes are so out of character it is making no sense.

Liked the movie for what it was.
It isn't a patch on the Avengers /Marvel universe.
They hate each other. They fight for a few mins and then they like each other because they've both got mums with the same name. Very forced. Suddenly he says I'll find her, and superman trusts him.
They should have stretched that conflict out over several encounters.
Where does bat get his Superman proof suit from.

Agreed kel...yr before movie came out when it was announced he was playing batman...I thought(as well as I assume alot ppl)ohhhhh noo!! But it worked. .
I think they're doin a 2 part justice league..so that one might just be the build up of him assembling the team for the most part...but simply as a teaser trailer it does have my hopes up for the movie

for sure...but the issue is they were waaaaaaay behind marvel..and that would've blown them out of the "race if they went that route imo...so they had to do somethin to try to even it up

He created the suit. You've got to remember batman is one of the most brilliant minds in comics so it's not a stretch to believe he made it. The important part is that he gassed supes with kryptonite, that's the only reason the suit didn't get completely shredded.

Yeh ironically my wife and daughter also want to come along...it's usually a me and my son type of event when we go see these movies but they wanna tag along as well

Dr strange looks great, I'm a fan of Benedict Cumberbash. if you haven't seen the BBC version of Sherlock (it's on Netflix), I thought they were great.
