Doesn't have to be heavy lifting. It's just the nature of the joint. You just have to respect it. If it hurts, find out why - huge mistake to work through it.
X2. With any type of shoulder issue ignoring it or trying to work through it is a mistake. I learned my lesson with a ruptured bursa. Will.never do that again. Cost me about 3 months of PT and even more time to slowly rebuild a bit of strength.
I can work through or around most injuries but shoulder isn't one of them.
