Fair enough, what do you mean your gains stopped at the 5th week?

Sounds like your gear is either bunk or you're not eating correctly to put on more size or whatever you are trying to do. I would look at those 2 factors before just stopping your cycle cold turkey.

More then likely when you hit a plataue like that you need to change something up. Either raise your calories, change your workout program, lower your calories, but never just stop your cycle.
