    Looking for advice on cycle

I'm getting ready to do a deca/npp/test cycle and need some advice. the last cycle I did was a few years ago and it was test/deca/var. I've used deca a few times before. I've been on TRT prescribed by my doctor for quite a few years now at 200mg ew. (cyp)

I ran both tren a and tren e cycles in the past. Sides were horrible. I've ran EQ a few times also.

I am 6' 3" and weigh about 225 lbs. I've been working out for the past 12 years or so. I am 51.

My plan is to use the NPP to kick start the deca/test cycle. Here is what I am thinking.

    Week 1 to 6, 100 mg NPP e3d.
Week 1 to 12 or 16, Deca at 400 mg EW
Week 1 to 14, Cyp at 500 mg EW

My questions are, is that enough NPP? That comes out to about 225 mg EW. This is just for a kick start and the first time I've taken NPP. I know ew or e3d would be better, but I don't want to stick more than I have to, but I will if suggested.

Is the deca at a high enough dose? I've heard you should do about 2 mg per pound of body-weight, but I don't want to over do it either. I've run deca in the past at 400 mg a week, but that was years ago. I want to make sure that I take enough of the deca though. I though about running it at 500 or possibly 600 mg every week, but again, I don't want diminishing gains.

I want to get optimal gains with this cycle. I do not bloat very much on any cycle, so that is not an issue with deca or test for me. I have not had any sides from deca in the past, just good ones.

I have been cutting all summer. I went from 275lbs early in the year down to my current 225 lbs weight, so this would be a clean bulking cycle for me.

    Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Congrats on the weight loss, your avatar looks great.

Personally I'd bump the NPP up to 150mg every three days.

400mg/week of deca is plenty on top of 500mg/week of test.

What AI do you plan on using and how much?

Thanks. Just want to make sure I am taking enough. I can up the NPP to 150. I was aiming low on that stuff. I'm pretty excited about the NPP. I've never used it but heard great things about it. If I do another cycle down the road, it may be all NPP and Test.

I've never had to use an AI while on a cycle. I don't retain much water. I have nolva from the last cycle, but never needed to use it.

    Thanks for congrats!!

AIs do far more than prevent water retention.

One of the most unhealthy things you can do on cycle is have elevated estrogen for a prolonged period.

Elevated estrogen is terrible for your cardiovascular system.

You can see and feel water retention but you can't feel a blood clot until it's too late.

I'm surprised you don't need an AI to keep your estrogen in range with your TRT regimen.

Have you ever has a sensitive estradiol assay while on cycle?

He does bloodwork regularly. I've never heard of a sensitive estradiol assay test done, but after googling it, it is worth looking into. I am going to ask my doctor about it. Thanks for that advice. My doctor monitors my RBC's, Test level and basic blood panel test along with my BP. I get bloodwork done every 6 weeks for RBC and every 12 weeks for everything else. I look at the numbers and if they are in range, I'm satisfied with that. I had him check my estrogen levels a while back and the doctor didn't seem like there were any issue's.

Sounds like your doctor is is on top of things.

Does your doctor have you using hcg on your TRT protocol?

While it's possible for someone to run the blast you've proposed and not need an AI to keep estrogen in range I've never meet someone in that category.

You should consider using arimidex with this blast or at least have some on hand and have mid blast blood work that contains a sensitive estradiol assay.

There's lots of information on this forum regarding why AI use is so important.

I'm sure you can find some with some research or I can like a few recent threads.

I understand that what you've done in the past has worked with favorable results.

I'm only trying to convey that there are safer ways to go about this without being passive aggressive.
