    My wake up music this morning. Actually woke up the wife as well, I may have punched the volume up @ around 1:45 or so?
    She jolted awake and the beast and I were standing there staring at her. Nice way to end the year and it keeps her on her toes..

    Great venues. Have 3 on deck so far for 2017. Whitechapel/Goatwhore/Cattle Decapitation, Alegeon in Feb, Anthrax/Killswitch early April, and late April Testament/Sepultura/Prong. hoping some more good ones come through as well as some festivals for the summer.

    Oh dang! Defo would like to catch Whitechapel and Goatwhore. Testament/Sepultura/Prong would be a real no shitter as well.
    Think the last good show that came by a local venue was Crowbar at Ground Zero in Spartanburg about an hour away. Been working so much I don't get to see many good bands particularly at a smaller venue.
    You would like Ground Zero. 2 stages are larger and have full length bars adjacent to the floor and then 3 smaller stages scattered around a split level setup.
    Umm, I wouldn't voluntarily take a urinalysis for a few weeks afterwards though. Saw Superjoint Ritual and several other bands there and somehow ended up with the munchies in Waffle House @ 4 in the morning. (I f-in hate Waffle House).

    It is pretty cool. It's a completely different experience to see a big name band at a smaller venue. The bands seem more relaxed/at home and most of the ones I've seen up there would actually get out and mingle between sets.

    Dark Tranquillity. They are from the Gothenburg, Sweden Death Metal scene I believe. Never thought of them as similar to Paradise Lost but once you mentioned it I would agree they have a similar vibe!
