Thanks for the good advice. I hadn't heard of this stuff before. I very much doubt if my doctor will prescribe it, but I see that I can get it online from the UK. It's pointless to attempt to get anything from the USA, Customs confiscate everything even remotely medical if it comes from outside of the EU.

Yes. I do 1mg twice per day.

As I suspected, not only isn't my doctor(?) interested, the drug isn't even available in this country.

I managed to get hold of some 4mg long acting Doxazosine, from somewhere. I chopped them into 4. Took 1 mg yesterday morning and another last night.

It's the first night that I slept right through and never had to get up once for a piss. Brilliant! Thanks for the info. So far no side effects. Took another 1 mg this morning
