Because that's how it works in modern Europe, the central state is becoming more and more controlling and the citizen only more dependent from gov institutions in every aspect. When it comes to safety, police is supposed to protect you, we are almost not allowed to defend ourselves, there is no chance gun laws are going to be more permitting in the UK, quite the contrary, probably it will get easier for terrorists to acquire an AK-47 smuggled via eastern Europe than a regular citizen to get a firearm license for self defense.

It's so much easier to control a defenseless and inert population (think of feminized males nowadays). What I ultimately mean, is the current political class and cultural elite is one huge part of the problem, as they are the main responsible for this situation, and we should get rid of them, as well as stopping bombing other countries.

Right wing parties are no option either. Le Pen f.ex is just the ultimate bullshit, she has no real means to do what she proposes, but wants to reinstate the indignité nationale, that is, the ability to ban anyone she dislikes from the country without a regular process.
