Until work schedule calms down, I agree it's not fair to leave pet for better part of the day. A tiny dog doesn't require exercise like a large dog which is why I'm leaning towards tiny dog.
I'm gonna have to think about this pet purchase some more.....

Kudos and 2 thumbs up for not making a "snap" decision, GGR.I will say that unless you plan to breed your pet, it is usually healthier for the pet to spay or neuter.
