It has evolved though. Back in the day pct was unheard of, hcg as well, AI as well.

I got to prove it to myself though.
    `thanks bro

    What about hCG

    From Week 1 onwards or week 8 - 12

I have seen multiple contradicting posts, what does the SCIENCE say?

Now Austinite says 'Week 1 - 12' and that poster is extremely knowledgable. But just curious ?

Hcg is mandatory to prevent testicular atrophy, for the duration of the cycle up to pct. 500 iu of hcg dosed twice per week @ 250mg will help recovery as well as atrophy prevention.

Hcg mimics lh function so your boys stay on during cycle. There are youtube personalities such as Dylan Gimelli who propose a short term use of hcg. They propose that your Leydig cells can become less sensitive to hcg and that it can have a slew of negative side effects.
All this info is based off a study in rats where the test subjects were administered an equivalent human dosage of 7500iu at once. Even in these extreme doses, the desensitization was only temporary and returned to normal in 14 days.

The question you must ask yourself is:
Would you rather have your testicular function shut down for a cycle or half a cycle or would you rather testicular fuction resumed normal till the end of cycle when you will be administering pct?

I cycle heavy. I have shrunken testicles because I ran ridiculous doses too long and I dosed hcg at once per week instead of twice. I no longer dose hcg for once a week and I dose it at 750-1000iu per week instead of the standard 500iu protocol. The desensitization does indeed happen at high dosages but not at my dosages.
