Without seeing a range on the FT I'm unable to comment. Standard estradiol is geared to women who's estrogen run higher than men and does not accurately gauge a mans lower levels. It can be accurate and it can be wildly inaccurate as well, which is where the problem lies. All the top docs in the industry will strongly encourage you to obtain a sensitive assay if at all possible.
Problem is most docs don't understand this along with the test is much more expensive than standard estradiol.
