As safe as var is you still don't need it on your first cycle.
You don't need to up your AI to .5 at all. Leave it at .25 and check bw at week 6. E2 is always better a little higher than lower.
Add in NAC for liver support.
Don't forget pre-cycle BW as well.

Definitely, arimidex is a bit stronger. The general guideline is 0.25 EOD. If that is too high then go even lower or E3D and check bloods
