No they took blood and tested it for hemoglobin and AIDS/other diseases, our donation centers do this (use google translate: Frågor och svar - GeBlod.nu )

I think I misused the word oxygen. I meant hemoglobin.

Yeah somehow I mixed it up, I could breathe back then I should have had plenty of oxygen :P

Somehow I had in my mind that hemoglobin had oxygen and not that it is just a transporter of oxygen. Just looked it up all clear now.

    Morning, Marcus!
Long day yesterday. Took Mrs. AG to the dentist for a small filling and they were talking about doing a root canal and crown on one tooth in the future. Now it has progressed to a potential dental implant. Estimated ~$4500. .
Meh, gotta do what you gotta do, right?

Dental implant here in India $1000, might be worth the trip. My dentist work exclusively on expats.

Hi fellas, did shoulders and traps the night.

Standing db side raises 1 working 1 drop

Incline side raises 1 set of 20 a side

Rev db fly 3 sets head on back of bench

    Smith shrugs 4 sets 10-12

    Done, fast and simple.

My front delts are a lot bigger than side/rear. So i do extra with them now and then. Plus they get smashed with pressing.

I have been working really hard on my side/rear delts bizz and it is paying off.

Front squats 140kg x 3,3,3 going up, pretty much never did these, theyre intergalactically far away from my squat it seems
    leg press 250kg x 3, 200kg x 10,10
glute ham raise (conditioning) x 25,25,25,25
    medicine ball crunches x 50, 50, 50

    Holy shit... 140 kg.
Can someone tell me the proper mechanics? I can’t do jack on front squats. First off, my wrists will not go back like the piwerlifters so that is a strike. I cross my arms but I feel like I am concentrating on keeping the weight on my delts and it hurts like hell. I think that I can get some deep cuts in my quads if I could master this move.

Front squats are a totally different animal for me compared to regular/back squats. For some reason they really strain my knees more. Think it is a foot position thing.

I know. I think I died a little when she told me, but we'll get her fixed up. Guess since she put up with me and my escapades for 25+ years she is entitled to something....maybe.

    One word: stretching

I have worked on them for about 18-months and the start was ridiculously painful. Not really on cousins level as my 1RM is 130kg. I'll post the stretches I thought was very helpful.

Not so good at fronts myself. There's an oly lifter in my gym he said I should try so I switched over. His front vs back squat only has a 10-15kg difference. Mine has a 60kg difference lol.

What I do is a pseudo Olympic grip, with two fingers under the bar and further out on the bar. Push elbows forward and find the sweet spot so the barbell is not choking you or hurting your delts.

Finding that sweet spot is my problem....
Thanks. I will try your grip, but I think that it will wreak havoc on my wrists. I guess I will just keep going at it until I find what's right

I know some guys that are heavy back squatters that can only front squat with a harness. They just don't have the wrist flexion.

If you go wider on the hand placement the pressure on the wrists goes down. I'm naturally stiff too...

    Sup guys.

Thought id chime in the dungeon.

Used to do tons of front squats before i herniated a couple of discs L4/L5, now i do all my squatting single legged. Give this a crack, something I respond to MUCH better in comparison to traditional front squats. Super taxing!

Using dumbbells in the pic, but i mix it up sometimes ill use barbell front loaded/back loaded or dumbbell.

12 oz. of grilled steelhead, 5 oz. of flank steak, 3 shrimp, and a red potato. Don't think I'll wake up hungry.
