OBS, Sil, I don’t really know you guys, I’m new to forum but long time lurker read many of your posts! I’ll start by introducing myself and a bit about my style of bodybuilding.
I’m 23, on self prescribed trt (young for trt I know but I’m dedicated haha), finished my last bulk at 232 but after dropping the water and glycogen I’m a week into cutting at 223lb.
I train high reps and I cycle from medium to high volume. Right now I’m doing each muscle group once every 8 days with one rest day in that time, and two days for back with one being thickness focused and one width focused.
I generally do a couple weeks of 8 sets per bodypart per workout, then about 4-6 weeks of 12-18 sets per bodypart building up from 12 to 18, then a couple weeks where I really push the volume and use a lot of intensity sets like drop sets etc and get upto 22-26 sets per bodypart per workout. This has worked well for me, but I’m debating switching for a while to a push pull legs split. The plan for that is each push pull and legs day twice per week with one rest day, the first of each being all compound movements in the 8-14 rep range. The second of each in the week will be more pump oriented with isolation workouts and in the 12-24 rep range and on certain exercises even up to 30+ reps to finish off a muscle group. I plan on starting that routine on my next bulk.
Right now I’m cutting to 8% and im sticking it out until I get there and will resort to Keto if needed (but I don’t reallt want to that’s last resort). I’m currently 13/14% bf. Diet right now is 3-4 days on about 2550 calories with 200g carbs, then a higher carb day with about 3750 calories and 500g carbs, dropping that by 400 calories to 3350 calories and 400g carbs shortly. I want my average daily cals for the week no lower than 2800... won’t go under 2500 even at the end of the cut, may have to add a lot of cardio or reorganize my spli and do two a day workouts (great for fat loss).
Currently running 600mg test E, 75mcg t3, and varying doses of Clen but most of my time is spent around 100-140mcg.
