Just so all of y'all know, this is probably going to be the toughest one to judge that I've seen....just saying.
There are 3 loves in my life: my wife, my English mastiffs, and my weightlifting....Man, my wife gets really pissed when I get the 3 confused...

Dude. Lol I can imagine what the top half of your face is doing in before pic.

I like your style cape ! If me I'd have thrown some spaghetti O's sauce randomly on my chest and had one stuck in beard.

    The frown is awesome.

You bounced right back bro. 12 weeks is nothing. Some guys lift for years and still look like marathon runners. What was your starting and ending weight? This really is gonna be a tight competiton.

I’d have to look back but I think I started at 198 lbs. I was 206lbs on Friday.

Those guys are not eating and training correctly. I remember when I very first started this journey. Keep in mind I am a small guy. 5”4..... I was about 160-165 and overweight. I learned how to eat right and got down to about 118. I was really really lean and muscular now I walk around about 180

Thats huge fluctuation! Im about your height. Ive never been a super skinny guy but once i learned how to eat i grew like crazy. Your right tho, those frail dudes just arent eating enough and dont lift heavy enough. Some guys just cant mentally exert themselves. Gotta tear that muscle down and feed it

Bio, there are guys like us out there. I swear to God, I wish it were that easy. Congratulate yourself on your effort, VERY well deserved, but understand that you truly are fortunate.

I never said it was easy. Figuring out the nutrition part for anyone is absolutely the hardest part and I would say most of the people in the gym don’t figure it out and give up

Well what I didn’t say was I started this lifestyle full time when I was 32 and I’m 47 now. So it took me 15 years for that fluctuation brother

Figuring out the nutrition isn't hard for me, making myself stick to it is a different story!

Before the judges come to decision take note...

Upper chest is overlooked and one of the hardest parts to get in this shape. That is one of the thickest upper chests I have seen on this board. I am gonna blame genetics though because it is convinient for me.

There is no clavicle for 3" straight in at the top.
    That is impressive.
I have a chest that would stop a 9mm but I dont have beef like that up top. This prick has the upper chest of an olympiad. Hope to be there before I reach my summit.

    Cape...
In final shots, give us a rear above lighting photo of the upper. I can see it on the left side. The right is washed out in the lighting of that photo. Stand just in front of an above light enough to get light on the traps and upper but the shade between to show the depth.

    Evening all!

Long couple of days off work travel, looks like there's been a few pics and Guitarzan is playing nutritional mind games. Saturdays are my off day, but I hit the hotel elliptical for a bit this morning.... Hard as hell to eat right at airports, but I did ok.

Thanks to some expert advice from those in-the-know I'm going to spend the next few days trying to wrap this up the best I can. I won't change much, but I may as well see it through.

Kitty, great job. I appreciate the dedication you showed to this comp. I'm looking forward to seeing everyone's final pictures in comparison to their beginning pics.

Octane, nice to see you man, looking big.

Couch, thanks again for heading this all up. I'm sure arranging everyone's pics is going to be a chore.

Cape, it'll take more than your big-ass right shoulder to scare me off

Time to unpack, unwind, and get some sleep. Shoulders tomorrow, I'll report back.

    Sleep well guys,
    C-

Ah man... I'm out. You look freaking great! ... You should probably be disqualified for being too big... or maybe too young... There's got to be a reason to DQ you

    Good work brother!

No regrets here, other than too many cheat meals...lol
I'm just happy I made it through this one with no health issues. I'm happy with my progress, though it wont be enough to win, but I like the slow pace I'm burning fat and adding muscle. I think it's a healthy pace, plus i think its bout the right speed to keep skin from getting too lose.
I keep debating between targeting fat loss harder, bulking then cutting, and so on. I really think I just need to keep going like I am, blasting and cruising, but shooting for recomp the whole time

I hear ya brother. The last one you and I were in I could only take half ass photos because I’d thrown my lower back out. You had a blood clot. I haven’t seen your final photos but I know you will be bringing it.

    Happy 3 days out.

I don't have any regrets either, and being part of this conversation, and camaraderie between everyone, has been great!

I didn't do anything differently with my training. I still stuck to my normal schedule and I think I only missed one or two times for whatever reasons. I did add some 'purposeful' cardio 3 days/wk in mid September, which is something I rarely ever do ... Other than that, my training stayed the same.

My cycle, Test/Mast was boringly normal. Nothing crazy, no fat burners, just cardio.

My diet is what changed the most, and what I was most surprised about. I thought I would lose maybe 20 lbs and get skinny-fat. I started around 240 I figured I'd end around 220, maybe 218. I normally average about 3200 (300g of carbs) calories a day at 240lbs. I thought I'd end this eating under 2000 cals at the end. I initially cut to it 2800 (200g of carbs) and I dropped from 240 to 226 in about 3 weeks. I stayed there for another two weeks. In mid September I dropped to 2400cals, 130g of carbs, and i started the cardio.

Here's what surprised me, after that last change in calories, and adding the cardio, I started GAINING weight. BUT, I kept getting leaner. I wish I had a reliable way to measure body fat at home, but I don't. Yesterday I was 236, so only down 4 pounds from the scale weight I started at, but I'm much leaner. We're only talking about 10 pounds, which is like 4%, so it's possible it's water and other such stuff. But it's looking like I accidental did a recomp and didn't realize what i was doing

I'm actually so inspired that I think I'm going to keep doing exactly what I've been doing for a while longer. My cycle is over, so no more Mast, and I'll drop the Test back to TRT levels for 10 weeks, we'll see what happens and decide what to do next.

Overall, this has been an outstanding experience and I'm glad I did it.

    Pictures Wednesday.

    Best,
    C-

No regrets here! The experience alone was great!...I dreamed for bigger than reality but I know how hard my body fights against me. I had a blast! Still going to continue on the path of cutting fat. Then I will work on putting on more muscle. Hopefully run my first cycle if I can find some $$...that junk is expensive! Lol

This is my comparison from starting my cut in June. (Yes, I was basically already halfway through when we started the comp. lol)
