I’m definitely going to be looking into something other than test for future cycles. I hate this swollen tick bullshit enough that I’m genuinely considering cutting my 600mg cycle to eight weeks, going back to TRT doses for ten and researching other compounds in between. I’m enjoying the strength increase, but the goddamned pumps and not being able to sleep for the boners and fuck dreams are both pissing me off.

One thing that I do miss about having dogshit test is that I never got pumps.
    Pump non sense!!?!?!?

Fuck. I want that pump all day..

Actually, I am doing the wimp.... I mean Cape workout. In and out in 45. Due to lack of time. No cardio and no second workout.

I hate it in ways that I cannot even begin to describe; I always have. If I could get away with doing every type of movement constantly in the 1-3RM range without ripping something, I would.

Are you talking. Lower back pumps?

Or muscle pump from lifting? Because if so, what's the point of lifting if you dont chase the pump?

I'll admit you come out of the gates hard, but I'm playing the long game ;-)

And to answer your question: I'm stuffing down the food, pinning a shit ton (to me) of chemicals, and moving weights as hard as I can.

There's nothing else to be done... But write my acceptance speach

Klokov Press is a behind the head standing press. Similar to ohp but behind the head instead of in front

how many IU of slin did you pin and where did you pin it ? a 4 hour delayed onset with Novalin R seems odd.

also. is it possible you consumed carbs, got a natural spike of insulin, and THEN injected the exogenous slin on top of what you already naturally produced, thus greatly elevating your insulin spike

You do realize that pump chasing has zero correlation to strength increase, yes? I don’t do this specifically for hypertrophy; that’s just a side effect. I’m far more interested in the overall performance increase.

this is basically true . however, there can be some benefits had for strength via the pump (or metabolite training) especially in regards to the recovery aspect. driving blood and metabolites into the muscle at the end of a strength based workout, or perhaps on a recovery day, can help strength athletes.
so I'd just say apart from just hypertrophy, the pump can still be beneficial (but its definitely not going to make up the bulk of your training)

Exactly why I allow for it. As I said, IF I could train perpetually in the 1-3 range I would. Unfortunately, biology just doesn’t care what I want.

Believe it or not, I had the same thing happen the other day. I was like WTF, this shouldn’t be happening. I had my glucose tabs handy!

yep. this can happen. we are NOT diabetics. so when we go eating a bowl of white rice and 2 pop tarts (fast acting carbs) and 15 mins later our body starts pumping out its own insulin and THEN after that we inject 15iu on top of that, our insulin levels are way higher then they would be had we went ahead and shot the exogenous insulin BEFORE consuming that meal

I had actually deduced that was the cause. My natural insulin fluxes hard. I shred carbs and my body has some weird way of knowing exactly how much of a wave to throw to put me back at baseline in 30 min.
I thought it was just freak timing because I sometimes can get very low bloodsugar naturally. Hypo in fact.

I have never had any amount of slin mess me up that bad though. Worst hypo yet off 10iu

I'd be lying if I said this all sounds easy .
It's probably why I have not sent this route and don't think I will , seems like you have to be very on top of this so kudos to you guys who can take this stuff on.

I'm guessing your a bit more insulin sensitive right now then you've been in awhile (perhaps your diet has changed or your training has went up or added in cardio, or perhaps an AAS your taking is making you more insulin sensitive) , and the second peak of the Novalin just hit you a lot harder right now then it usually does.

as long as your not overly stressed and your cortisol levels are not elevated , the insulin sensitivity could show up as lower fasted blood sugar OR as a lower then normal post perennial blood sugar reading after a glycemic load (without taking exogenous insulin).

tomorrow I would take your fasted blood sugar . then when you eat a meal (without insulin) that contains at least 40g of carbs and very little fat, take your blood sugar reading again 1.5 hours later.

my guess is that your fairly insulin sensitive right now, your fasted blood sugar will be in the high 70s and your post meal will be in the 90s.

Also Capebuffalo , what AAS are you taking right now ?

you could have a higher level of IGF right now and thats going to come into play with your bodies glucose metabolism as well and how inulin effects you

When I had fasted bloodwork before my cycle my insulin was 15 which was one number above normal so it was considered high. The doc didn't bring it up but should I be concerned about this? Also
    cholesterol - 194 normal
triglycerides - 150 high as normal was considered<150
    HDL - 47 - normal
CALC LDL CHOL - 117 - high as normal was considered<100
Does all this automatically mean I'm pre diabetic?

slightly high fasting insulin levels just means that you may have a slight bit of insulin resistance going on.. that is usually easily fixable.
would be beneficial to know your fasting glucose and post perennial glucose levels as well.

we could simply manipulate your diet and training to get you back to insulin sensitive instead of resistant , OR add in a GDA (glucose disposal agent) or drug like Metformin , which has plenty of healthy benefits with little to no side effects and is very affordable.

easy fix if you get on top of it now
