I think I have found the clue: 3 weeks ago I got some prozac without prescription to cure a depressed mood at a dose of 40 mg/day. Now has passed 2 days since I'm off it for good.
Well, today I pushed out 5 extra reps doing a double 24 kg kettlebell floor press! Also, I'm not depressed anymore!

Bro, please be careful with all the stuff you are taking without prescription or research; everything could backfire in a second!

I really hope things workout in your favor
    Good luck

I think it's a bad idea to take mood altering drugs without having someone in your corner to monitor your changes, simply because we are poor judges of ourselves in this regard, our mood shapes our perception of the world a lot.
That someone would be a psychiatrist, since only they can prescribe these things. I don't have much love for them for various reasons, but at least they have some knowledge about this.

It's unfortunate that you don't listen to people who are trying to help you. They could be wrong, but at least it's worth listening in my opinion, especially vets here.

I'm not picking on you but I'll post what I believe depression is in most cases
From my experience depression is quite simple in some cases, you are depressed because there is something in your life you're not working on, there is something you have left on the table for months or years which you refuse to look into and fix for your damn self so depression comes in to your life and fucks you up completely until you deal with those issues. Once you begin to deal with those issues things begin to change
Here's the thing the big pharma companies want you on pills that alter your brain chemistry and change you sometimes for good and in most cases the sides are pretty bad with these drugs

Here's the thing again, DEPRESSION can be a good thing it means you have to be stronger than this and figure out whats really bothering you
What is really going on and not the bad moods or depressed feelings we get. There is something at the core of everyone that bugs them and sometimes it gets so bad you finally have to deal with it
The day I admitted i had a problem with looking into one area of my life and i was scared to change certain things or work on certain things is the day i admitted it was time to change
Depression is a state of mind, I think it can be beaten

I do agree in the vast majority of cases. I have thought about this a lot. It's usually because there's something wrong in their life that for whatever reason doesn't get fixed. And it's a cascading effect, the more it doesn't get fixed, the more depressed, and when you're depressed it's hard to find the motivation to fix anything, and you lose hope that it can be.
Although, there are some cases where there is just a chemical imbalance and medication is needed to fix it (or a combination of chem imbalance and life issues more likely). And doctors are too quick to prescribe antidepressants, especially since (for some of them), once you're on, you're on for life.
