    Hmmm... seems kinda high fir a recomp... I was under the impression that if you wanted to recomp on aas you should stay at a trt-ish dose . Can anyone chime in?

    500mg per week is NOT very high at all , its quite low. its a cruise dosage. (it does however work as a 'cycle' for new users). you wouldn't want to recomp using only a trt dose of gear. all trt dose does is provide you with normal ranges (just like a natty) of test,, you need to be in supraphysiolgical ranges to upregulate protein synthesis, nitrogen retention, and other anabolic traits. trt dose does not do this.
    especially for recomp being your calories are going to be at maintenance or below. you can chance losing muscle if your dosage is too low. you need the positive nutrient partitioning that come from higher dosages.

    yeah but I've seen people take 250mg of test a week and literally have test levels of 1500-2000

    but thats just above "normal" on some blood tests.. in fact a couple decades back normal test levels went up to 1500. not sure why it got lowered to like 300-1300. probably because as a society as a whole our natural test levels keep getting lower and lower. 50 years ago plenty of "natties" walking around with 1500 test levels.

    natural/normal test levels (even if in the high range) do not put on muscle like supraphysiological levels do. I'm talking 5000-10,000+ along side super elevated estrogen levels.

    either way, I'm not a huge fan of Test as the best choice for a Recomp drug (other then using it to get the estrogen conversion). lot of other better choices out there.
    however if your new to AAS then test works pretty well for recomp cause of the newb gains you can get out of it. but even as a newb, adding some primo and var is going to be beneficial over just a test only cycle
