    Oh, I’ll probably still post something, it’s just going to be A: late and B: furry as fuck. It was intended more as an acknowledgement that I’m not going to make it in time so there weren’t any of the “X has Y amount of time left” posts that I’ve seen in the other comp threads.

    As for the why: I don’t do this for physique anything, at least not as typically accepted. I do it for two reasons. First, I enjoy the entire process. Second, an abject hatred for weakness, both physical and psychological. Essentially, modern life pisses me off with how soft it is, so I rather enjoy going out of my way to kick the shit out of myself in many forms.

    As has been pointed out several times in this thread, my training and nutrition methodologies aren’t even remotely in line with anything pertaining to physique goals. There’s a reason for that. What I look like is a side effect of the ultimate goal: strength and capability. It just so happens that I spent enough time as a fatass that I’m not willing to go full 1990s powerlifter to get there.

    I will get it done probably Thursday night. It's not going to be pretty. Been working my ass off on a huge project. Workouts have been on, but diet and rest not so great. Also my little deal with the tren kinda screwed things up ... my lungs are finally feeling like they are clear and I have started on HIIT again. So I guess my plan to get good pics will be. Shave all hair, get a spray tan, fast for 24 hours then do HIIT in the AM. Thursday evening do a high rep whole body workout, oil up, set up lights perfectly and then take pics. LOL Shit I barely have time to hit the gym this week.

    I am working a side project. I gutted a bathroom and removed the fiberglass shower insert, framed up a new shower, re-did all the plumbing and drains, re-installed a cabinet, installed ditra in floor heat underlayment, goboard in the shower, started tiling, ripped out countertop, mirrors, lights, re-did all electrical, fixed the drywall and painted. I still have a lot to do. Also had to remove all the furniture from my own master bedroom because we are getting new carpet on Wednesday .... so that means putting it all back Wednesday night while fasting! BUSY!

    Edit: I totally forgot about the BP thing during this comp. I stopped Lisinipril because it was causing a dry cough bad. Waited a couple weeks to make sure it was what was causing the cough, yep it was. Started on Lasartan. BP was sky rocketing actually had a 180/101 well after 3.5 weeks on lasartan it was 129/66 with a pulse of 71 this morning.

    Considering what I had to eat to even get here, I don’t even want to think about what that would require. Going back to being a sedentary, slovenly sack of mayonnaise isn’t an option, so I’m guessing somewhere in the original Eddie Hall diet range...ugh.

    Anyone not posting should be banned from future competitions. We all did what we could under different circumstances. Some will have done better some worse. At the end of the day, if you look or perform better today than January 2, you should be satisfied as the only opinion that matters is your own.
