Probably an iPhone because the vic said it was worth $1000, and initially McGregor was arrested on charges of felony criminal mischief and strong-armed robbery (a 2nd-degree felony), which could have netted him 20 years. Yesterday (Friday) they re-valued the phone at $200 to $1000, which brought the felony criminal mischief down to misdemeanor criminal mischief and the strong-armed robbery down to "sudden snatching" (yes, that's really "a thing"), a 3rd-degree felony. So the worst he could get now is 'only' six years.

And there's a shit-ton of witnesses as well as a partial video of the incident.
