I sympathize with many of the outlaws though.
I know how it went down with a lot of them.

Some loud mouth sheriff or Marshall was acting like mr big and bad tin star and ran his mouth about what he was gonna do or what he could do and got his mouth shot off and that was the beginning of their career.

Billy the kid was in a cattle war in which they killed his employer and he hunted the bastards down but money and politics made him an outlaw.

Butchcassidy and sundance never shot anyone they just wanted money and they sent the freaking army to kill them.
