Whites had to survive harsh winters, which natural selection lead to those who can hold on to fat more, with a thicker waist to maintain heat. Shorter limbs for strength in the field and also to maintain heat.
About 10 years ago there were 4 football players who were stranded out at sea on a capsized boat. 3 were black, 1 was white. The black guys were all jacked, low body fat, etc. The white guy was average looking, nothing too crazy. He's the only one that survived. The others died of hypothermia and exhaustion. Sometimes it pays to be black, sometimes it pays to be white.
