Was a sub-Q guy like yourself, but had to make the switch. Seeing that 1.5” needle disappear into your flesh can be a little tough (though NOT the sign of being a pussy, it’s called intelligence actually as it’s not something we naturally should be doing), but keep at it, it gets easier.
Every so often I will nick a tiny nerve & it makes me jump.
Generally where the pockets sit, almost dead center has been my sweet spot.
Delts with a 5/8” are becoming my favorite. But, I’m missing most of my left RC, so my wife doesn’t mind pinning my right Delt for me. Funny thing she seems to think she has to divide the injection into smaller doses over multiple spots . . . . . .
