    Actually morphine sulfate and hydrochloride both have a solubility of 10.2mg/ml in water. That’s a big reason why they’re bonded to a salt to begin with. The free base form isn’t very soluble at all.

    They are bound to the salt which is sulfate and hcl.

    They are soluable entirely differently by action.
    This link is a pdf and I did say that entirely wrong.

    Sulfates are water soluable and highly absorbable in the presemce of ethanol and certain acids. Hcl is not phased by acids and is not readily seperated by ethanol

    They perform entirely differently in terms of release from their salts. Same drug different salt.
