It’s because they want as few non-Covid people in the hospital, as to protect them from exposure. Don’t you have other conditions that might be factored in as pre-existing conditions making you potentially more susceptible. Your weight also puts you into the obese category, plain & simple. The doctor has to clear these hurdles with his superiors.
