Everything in moderation. Water will kill you deader than 4 o'clock
if you drink too much of it.
There's also a misconception that we live longer now than ever before. Our life
expectancy is longer because fewer of us die prematurely (from accidents or preventable disease, and 'treatable' conditions like diabetes) and more of us are living long enough for the frailties of old age to kill us. But human life
span has not changed appreciably. So far as we can tell with a reasonable degree of certainty, people have always lived 70-80 years before their body turns on itself and the old age death spiral begins. And for most of the 200,000 years that modern man has been around, we ate whatever was available. And if there was more than enough to go around, we ate more of whatever it was that tasted best. No veganism, no gluten-free, no clean diet, no South Beach, no Atkins. Just filling the hole in your belly.
S'all good, man.
