RBCs are created in bone marrow, live about four months and then 'die.' Any attempt to interfere with that cycle necessarily would involve either monkeying with the marrow's rate of RBC production or causing the cells to expire prematurely. And since the regularity of both of those functions is essential to continuing to live, IMHO it would be safer to just slit your wrist once every few weeks.

There are some studies showing that repeted plembotomy cause the bone marrow to produce more red blood cell ,Dante post one study but i can find it about people going back to plembotomize with higher rbc numbers than previous blood donation ,Dave palumbo say something similar and someway make sense ...i remember a few years ago a medical nurse tell me the same thing ,but who knows...and almost forget i read on some trt forums guys who got back high rbc hct leveles after 1 week from donate blood.

Causes anemia

When I was juicing away, I donated every 2-3 months. . . They loved me. But, it skewed my whole blood work. . . My RDW was way out of wack. After stopping the mega doses, I slowed down on my donating also - about, 6 months to a year everything went back to normal - aside from my HCT being a tad higher than normal acceptable levels
