I thought I was just following instructions clearly laid out in the lyrics? ? ? If the band really didn't want me to do all that stuff then why would they advocate it through the expressive medium of art?

I landed in La Gaurdia in New York lastnight, trying to keep a low profile here Stateside. I've been keeping an eye on UK news, and my subject hasn't been reported missing yet -- I still have time. Google Maps says I'm 2800 miles from your house... about 40 - 50 hours by road... I can pick up a glock and a few disguises on the way (false nose, hair wig). I'm not getting on another flight.

I talked with Prox, he didn’t recall the offer at staying at his house (it was designed for just the wife and him), but dinners, chilling, NP. Plus he can get you a guest membership at his gym.
