Biden is a 40 plus year politician. He isnt gonna do half the stuff he is promising. He may ban large magazines and stop online firearm sales but it wont go any farther. He is just trying to please his liberal fanbase , imho. And I believe executive orders he can bypass congress. But he doesn’t want to open that can of worms nor does his hopeful vp

Sometimes, it can go through Congress, but usually, "gun laws" are "passed" by the president directing the ATF and that agency creates new "regulations." And technically, they're not "laws" as they're not passed by Congress, but since not being in compliance can get you fined and see jail time, they basically are.

An easy example is when governors issue mandates requiring people to wear face diapers. The state legislation never passed laws requiring that, but nonetheless if you don't comply, you're subject to jail and fines.
