What I write will be controversial on this board...

But my guess is that your blast drastically lowered your SHBG.
This in turns makes you use up you test quicker.
Thus your test reading will be lower.

SHBG and albumin bind to test and render it unusable while bound.
It also stops the test from degrading.
Free test (test no ester) has a very short half life.
If you had no SHBG and albumin then you would run out of test by the end of the day. (you produce test when you sleep)

I could be more detailed and complex but I don't have time right now.

    note:
I am assuming you are using pharmaceutical grade test for your TRT.
I am assuming your blood was drawn the same amount of time after your injections.

If not then different quality test and different length of time can be why your test levels are different now.

Yes, I use pharmaceutical grade test for my TRT. My SHBG is always near the top of the range when I get labs drawn. This last time is was lower at 37.5. Prior to this it was 54.3, with the top of their reference range being 55.9. There may have been a small difference in time from when these two sets of labs were drawn, but not more than an hour or so. I always get labs drawn at 9am on a Tuesday 3.5 days after my last injection.

Thank you both for your responses, btw.

Not sure I'd call it controversial. Read this excerpt from a study DD and let me know if this is related to what you describe:

In this study we have demonstrated that in the absence of SHBG large amounts of Te rapidly enter the cell where they are inactivated by conjugation to glucuronic acid and effluxed. In the presence of SHBG however, while there is reduced Te uptake, glucuronidation and efflux of Te are also reduced and the effects of Te on androgen responsive genes are enhanced. This in vitro study of the role of SHBG may have significant clinical relevance, and as such, the assessment of androgen deficiency in vivo should simply rely not only on measurements of total Te alone but also on the evaluation of serum SHBG levels.
These findings clearly demonstrate that SHBG plays an important regulatory and intracellular role to modify Te metabolism and function and to promote cell growth. These observations will need to be confirmed in other androgen sensitive tissues. If a consistent effect is demonstrated, it will significantly change our current understanding of the role of SHBG in health and disease.
I'm just not sure how this directly effects testosterone readings.

DD your last Notes are on point as always.

So would bio/free test be higher for him then?
Or is it all hitting receptors and all blood values will be lower?
