Why does the left so passionately want to venerate criminals?

Although I am registered independent...
Many view me as a leftie.

I personally disagree with the blanket statement...
"Why does the left so passionately want to venerate criminals?"

I don't know a single person who regards George Floyd as a saint.
I do hope that some good can come from his death.

But I think that spamming propaganda is only hurting America as a whole.

I also think it is hurting this forum.

I definitely agree that the political crap on this board has driven a lot of good people away. I miss how it was was back in 2009-2015 and I think a lot of people agree with that.

That's because the change in political climate , and acceleration of political agendas,, has revealed some very unflattering truths for many people.

Much of what many people have believed, as truth, are actually lies.

And facing that truth scares and confuses many people. It's totally understandable that many people will initially be dismayed. To discover, and accept that you've been lied to, used and manipulated, really sucks. But as they accept reality and it sinks in, most will come to terms with it, amd move on, much the wiser.

"The lefts passion for veneration of criminals" stems entirety from the democrat party seeing political benefits in doing so. We can all see it, if we choose to look. But, we're just not supposed to talk about it, and most who drink the coolaid don't want to hear it.

If Mr floyd "sacrificed his life" to further the cause of the democrat party, then that's at least martyrdom, the next very small step from martyrdom is sainthood.

It's not a too far fetched at all.

And truth, no matter how painful or inconvenient, ultimately doesn't hurt anybody, except those who choose vehemently and vapidly, to believe lies, simply because that's easier and less stressful, than accepting reality.
