It's not PC, but "Red State" is one of my regular "must watch" movies. The kicker is you have to watch the entire movie. John Goodman is in it and he is perfect for the storyline, partially the ending. Also, Michael Parks nails his role to a "T".
Edit: As far as TV series, we always wait until the last season is released on media and watch then. Schedule is too hectic to plan a time to watch something.
