I knew a guy one time who worked out 7 days a week, he was my friend and he had a lot of problems, and he wound up dying of an overdose last year. But anyway I'd say take at least 2 days off per week. I'd feel like shit if my life was just constant exercise, or just constant work, or just constant.... anything. Even back when I was doing yoga by myself at home ever day, I still took days off.

There's other ways of prodding at how you feel... reading the bible, chanting with beads, etc. Actually this Friday I'm going to a Buddhist meditation centre. There's a guy near me here who owns his own gym, and he's doing really well since he started going to mosque. Whatever works.
You hit the nail on the head. I know that feeling as well, and it is often followed by periods of deep dissatisfaction. It may be fun when you’re feeling on top, but the higher you are, the harder you fall.
