Bring oral steroid on international flight into the US? Thoughts?

What I am asking is, all she got for admitting owning steroid is a seizure notice or there is no punishment at all?

It was just a seizure notice, there wasn't any penalty, she didn't have to attend a court. But I think it meant that she'd always be watched more closely when travelling (a lot more likely to be stopped, questioned, searched).
