Although having graduated almost 10 years earlier than you and already teaching, I guarantee you that us as teachers were already saying, “what’s going on with this new generation of kids” (your graduating class)?

You are 100% correct. But go back to this exact situation, if the ref really stood his ground and really started clocking people, drawing some blood, etc. Think about what this new generation of kids or fans are going to do in turn? You’re telling me there are zero odds that one or more of those kids didn’t have a hand gun in their gym bag or locker? Or a fan? The ref got up and walked away with stitches & nobody else was hurt.

We have security at organized sports for a reason. Regrettably not as much at Dodger stadium (or the Colloseum when the Raiders used to play, lol). Maybe learning some manners and etiquette should start with the adults that go to and supervise sporting events.

How are Polish kids/schools compared to ours? I was told by many of the kids that migrated from other countries, that discipline was far stricter in their old schools. Then ironically, these same kids became the most PITA kids in your class, go figure. Nice thread; you piggy backing off of Davi in keeping things fresh and “interesting” here, lol ?
