Totally! Bill Goldberg - I’m the miniature version

We stick our racing to the streets, much safer I launched it out of our lot, lost the power brakes & came flying into a street - again, “luckily” no cars were coming

This thing will darn near pull the front tires off the groundClick image for larger version.

Man, put it in a storage place and bring it out once a month or so. Or sell it for some crazy amount, right now ALL vintage cars and trucks seem to be bringing crazy prices.

I never got particularly attached to any of my cars, though I did have 1974 Pontiac Lemans two door that was fun. Not a fast car, more of a lead sled, but it rode like a yacht. Had it at 110 mph one time with the after market radio and eq (Pioneer of course) cranking some AC/DC while a buddy read a hot rod magazine. He never had a clue how fast we were going.

It does - but, I’m looking for a huge life change here shortly. She’ll just sit - unless I get the cash I want for it

It puts down about 350 horse, open dif - no posi. So, it’s no race car - my son can careless about it. He’s like, just get a Tesla - it’s faster

    Lmao! Well said

I got my Maro dialed in good yesterday, the secondaries now hit hard. Kinda good no one else was out there with me & I wasn’t under the hood of it - straight threw two belts clean off - that shit would rip your face off

I’ve been eyeballing a 69 Merc Cougar convertible with a 351 Windsor. Could care less about 1/4 mile times or keeping up with soulless battery powered cars, I just like to cruise and feel the wind through my hair. I mean scalp.

Like you said though, time and money. Everyone in my life seems to be after both

It’s not technically for sale, but it’s a buddies and I know he’d let it go to the right home

    Love that

Won’t go against Tesla’s; too quick off the line.

Kids out here are all about obnoxious exhausts.

Of the second gens, the 70-73 dominate in looks followed by the 78-81. The 74-77 were hideous to me, but to each his own i guess.

Partial to the 1969 myself. This build kicks ass; incredible restomod. Simple, clean, beastly.

Mercedes is discontinuing the V-8’s; ain’t never going to let my beast go.

Right where I'm at right now - I might just park it & get classic car insurance on it

Wait a minute, shit - I ran this guy on open headers for the first week of getting it

I'm thinking of either getting cut outs, or removing the cats the last guy had installed - it's never loud enough. . . I remember my friend's 69 Pontiac Lemans with a 400 Pontiac big block with open headers, that shit shook the dishes inside the house

Had an SRT8 a ways back and sunk some $ into modifying it, including headers and a high flow exhaust. Ported & polished the intake & man, that thing rumbled. But at lower RPMs it would loosen your bowels. The wife refused to ride in it.

Even with the non-performance exhaust on my current ride, I’d wake up the neighbors when I started this thing and left for work at 6 am. I’ll leave the loud exhausts for you young whipper-snappers, although occasionally I’ll open up the throttle at a stop light and frighten pedestrians
