You didn't ask me but I'll answer with regards to my hormone clinic. Yes mine will prescribe hcg as well as put ancillaries. I think my initial visit was 150 bucks for the consult. Labs are 50 bucks and each subsequent office check ups and going over labs is also 50.
Pretty sure he'll write scripts for other stuff as well. I know he mentioned var and deca several times.
He started me on 200mg week test c. It was way more than I need, but he left at that so at my current dose of 75mg a week, I have a buffer to play with the dose and I don't run out since my script is for a 10 week supply.
The script is like a regular Dr prescription. He called it in to my pharmacy, I went and picked it up. I was on the gel before and my insurance was covering that. I paid 10 bucks for a 60 day supply of the gel. I didn't file this script on my insurance...yet, but it was like 38 bucks for a 10 week/200mg per week supply. This guy is a licensed PA, just like most regular primary care clinics have...around here anyway. Not many Doctors work in PCP's anymore.
My gel script was given to me by my PCP. I complained about not getting enough sleep, didn't want to tak yet another sleep study, and she say how lw my T was....I think I was around 300 as well, so she said well your low T could be causing this so I can put you on TRT if you want to.
Its really not hard to get a legal prescription for it if you're t is that low.
I'll be totally honest with you I want to be on the highest dose possible to maybe cruise a little lower the prescribed and stock like what I can for a rain day. I have had nothing but bad luck with sources lately and right now I'm off cycle and was supposed to be on a cruise but as this post shows my gear is junk so I didn't pct properly because I wasn't planning on cycling off. So I don't want to end up in this boat again. So I hear the clinics are a little more apt to get you in a higher dose. Plus I don't pay out of pocket for any of it because they take hra payments.
