Taking my lumps

I made the mistake of using like 22gauge on my first cycle. Fucking painful lol.

Couch was the one I believe who convinced me to try much smaller needles. Like 27s. Wayyy better.

But then I started using 28 gauge insulin syringes. I believe they’re also .5”. Which actually goes deep enough to at least get through my subcutaneous fat even on my ass. I just make sure to really push it in to get an extra 1/4” or so deeper. If that made sense.

I started doing delt shots using those 28s and I haven’t looked back since. Alternating both cheeks and both delts doing EOD injections so the volume is small.

Prefer delts with 28x.5” though. I feel like it really goes IM as opposed to my ass since it’s a s short needle.

How often you injecting?

For cruising once a week…blasting currently and 3X a week.

Gonna put quads back in the rotation and stay with the 25’s I think. Lumps have been much better lately (jinx)

Yup. No way for me either. Did quads once or twice maybe back in the day. Ended up with terrible PIP whihc I never get with glutes or delts. Plus I think it’s much easier to really fuck yourself up in the quads. Lotsa nerves and veins and arteries so if you don’t know what your doing that’s a recipe for disaster

What am I missing? I've only done trt in my quads. Is it the volume of a cycle that's bad in the quads? When i first started trt injections, i was doing the full 1ml vial in one does with no issues.

My plan was once my bf was back down where it needs to be, I'm doing a test c cycle and never thought twice about utilizing a different injection site.

Quads are easy for me, but they can be too easy. I think some people find them difficult due to hitting nerves, etc. and some guys overuse them and develop scar tissue.

Ok. I think I hit a nerve once. Sharp pain...not unbearable though. And I made a note of the spot so I haven't hit it again since. I've found that if I inject into the rectus femoris I have yet to have any issues. Yes, I had to Google the name. Lol

So my dose yesterday, left quad and I hit what I assume was a blood vessel. Not the first time I'd done that, but the worst I guess. Hurt pretty good. I pulled the pin out and it bled quite a bit. Swabbed another spot on the same quad, pain again. lol Not as bad...no bleeding, but I gave up on that leg and moved to the right leg. No issues.

I never thought hitting a blood vessel would hurt like that....or maybe I hit a nerve??
