So I am a little confused on this. If you’re using test for TRT it’s a life long commitment, but is it not the same if you’re doing a 12 week cycle for bulking. I mean that’s not life long, but I get you’ll loose some gains once you stop….

With trt, you don't do any pct to get your hormones back where they were pre cycle. Trt on the other hand is used continuously to get your test levels back to a healthy range.
Trt doses are usually pretty low. I'm doing 100mg per week. Compared to a cycle of 300 to 600mg a week of test not to mention if you're stacking other compound. That's much different as you can see from a safe trt level dose.

There are reasons why we exaggerate about TRT being a lifelong commitment, beg your pardon. Starting synthetic male sex hormones shuts down your natural production. Say for example a young man with test lvl of 195 commits to a year of testosterone therapy, then quits...it's reasonable to predict a healthy recovery will yield a new homeostasis ~165-175ng/dL (at best) - definitely challenging to articulate the mental and physical risks for the masses as we age (genetic freaks can bounce back with post cycle therapy, but it's rare).
In the case of bodybuilders utilizing AAS for bulking or whatever, it can be worth the drama of taking time off to balance health & maximize gains as they return to the sauce...if that makes sense.
Testosterone boosting supplements are all snake oil, save your money. Much safer investing in performance enhancing drugs from your pharmacy vs GNC as either they're offering a placebo or serious analogs/derivatives which will be banned/controlled in couple of years.
Dunno man. The old test supplements were shit like tribulus etc. But these new ones like the tongkat ali and fadogia agrestis, alot legit people saying they work. I havent tried them myself but i do believe they can possibly be of some (noticable) help

Yeah I remember listening to that podcast when it came out and wondering if he was trolling the trt community. He's dialed in on his workouts and diet, and can remember obscure facts a guest said from 50 podcasts ago, yet he doesn't know exactly how much trt he is taking day to day / week to week![]()
Oh ok, that makes more sense and was kind of what I was thinking. I need to speak with my doctor once again as I don’t recall him saying how long we’re going to try the 200/month and also when we’ll do bloodwork once again.
It would be be interesting to come off the Test Cy, check blood work and then try some Tongkat Ali or Fadogia Agrestis, and then do blood work once again after a period of time to see if there’s any improvement at all.
This all seems like it’s going to be a lot of trail and hopefully no error, as everyone’s body is different and reacts differently.
It would make no sense to try trt levels for a year with the intention of coming off. Much better to cycle and pct, maybe twice in that time frame. The longer you are on continuously, the tougher recovery will be.
One of the things many people don't realize about trt is that after you get dialed in, your numbers remain stable. None of the ebb and flow of natural production. You feel good all the time, until maybe you do a blast, when you should feel great!
