Dr increased my dose to 60mg twice ew. I was at 55 crit and 18.2 hemo. After 6 weeks we ran labs again and my hematocrit came in at 54.1. That’s good news it went down not up. We are headed in the right direction. My hematologist says if we can keep at or around 54 that is a good number with no phlebotomy needed. Yay!!!
Congrats, man!!! I'm still trying to my ferritin above 12. Hct is holding around 52% and my iron is back down into the normal range instead of 322. I had no idea I could hit iron overload that quickly.
